I’d like to read more. I like the details of the location in the first chapter.

I think I’m going to send some poems out at the end of the month. I don’t like sending things off because publications take so long to respond. I understand this but it’s annoying. I wanted people to come and find me here but I am not posting enough and people are not reading enough. But poems take time. Blogs take seconds.

I was reading The Guardian books blog today and I’ve decided I won’t visit again for a while. It’s incredibly depressing and I suggest the editors do something with the people who are commenting. I would invite them to a blog party and then lock the door and play Erasure and The Communards and Elton John until they danced.

I’ve been trying to get to grips with Goodreads. I have had an account for a while but I have no friends and can’t find my way round it very well. I’ll spend some more time on it.

I like this book review. It makes me want to buy Alarm by Mike Daily.
